Changelog
De laatste updates en verbeteringen van Travas. De changelog is beschikbaar in het Engels.
8 september 2026
- Notifications (Annex 1a) are now certified for DIWASS instead of signed on a signature pad. The arranger certifies block 17 in-app and the certificate travels to DIWASS with the submission.
- The waste generator receives an email with a certificate link to certify their part of block 17. The notification is submitted once they have done so.
- The notification follows the competent authority review in DIWASS: submitted, accepted by the dispatch authority, accepted by all authorities, consent granted, objection raised, consent withdrawn, invalidated (on hold) and revalidated. Each stage shows an explanatory alert on the annex.
- Acknowledgement and decision stamps from the competent authorities appear on the Annex 1a document, including consent limits (tonnes, m³, shipments), validity period and specific conditions.
- Requests for information from a competent authority can now include attachments, which are shown and downloadable on the request.
- Transports for a notification are only available once all competent authorities have approved it. An empty state explains this.
7 september 2026
- When an Annex VII has more than three carriers, the extra carriers are listed on a separate carrier attachment document that is generated and kept in sync automatically. The form shows a notice when carriers overflow the document.
4 september 2026
- On completion of a transport, the archived Annex VII PDF is emailed to the handler automatically. The annex shows when and to whom it was sent.
- An Annex VII can no longer be announced within two working days of the shipment date. The form shows the earliest allowed date, and a clear error appears when the date is too soon.
28 augustus 2026
- Organizations can upgrade and downgrade their subscription. Members of a free organization can start an upgrade. The free trial is available once per organization.
24 augustus 2026
- Signature names are prefilled on the handling and receiving signature screens.
19 augustus 2026
- Help page — A new Help page, reachable from the profile menu, shows how to contact us by email or phone and links to the support center (support.travas.eu).
- Password change signs out other devices — Changing your password now ends all your other active sessions; only the device you changed it on stays signed in. Reported through our responsible disclosure programme by Devansh Chauhan, thank you.
18 augustus 2026
- Confirmation email for assisted DIWASS registration — After paying for a Travas-assisted DIWASS registration you now receive an email confirming the payment, explaining what happens next, and what to do with the activation email from EU-login/DIWASS (forward it to support@travas.eu unopened; we’ll let you know when it’s on its way).
- Consistent email styling — The welcome and verification emails share the same layout, text sizes and colours as the rest of our emails. The “Looking for DIWASS?” notice has been removed from them now that we offer the assisted registration.
7 augustus 2026
- Chain partners for producers and handlers — When adding a chain partner you now choose the role they play towards you: importer, producer or handler. Linked producers and handlers get access to the projects you work on together, shown on their own “Projects as producer” and “Projects as handler” tabs, just like importers.
- Project tabs on mobile — The project tabs on the organization page (own projects, carrier, importer, handler, producer) are now also reachable on small screens through a dropdown that navigates on selection.
- Tidier project tabs — Projects your organization arranges itself no longer show up again under the “Projects as …” tabs; those tabs now only list work you do for other arrangers.
- Project access checks tightened — Viewing an organization’s project tab pages now correctly requires being part of that organization, and handling or receiving a shipment through the office pages requires active project access (paid or via a chain partner link). Signing links received by email are unaffected.
6 augustus 2026
- Signer role on signatures — Signature blocks now record the signer’s role within the organization instead of the place of signing.
- Stability fix — Fixed an error that could occur when moving a shipment document to its next status.
5 augustus 2026
- R-code visible on the recovery declaration — The recovery declaration now shows the project’s R-code as a locked field, so the handler can see it without being able to change it.
- Transport finish screen fix — The transporter’s finish screen no longer shows an unfinished declare step that wasn’t theirs to complete.
4 augustus 2026
- Fixed a bug where the “Projects as importer” tab could briefly appear for organizations without any importer projects.
- Chain partners: under Organization management there’s a new ‘Chain partners’ section where you can link companies (importers only for now). A partner without its own subscription is added to your subscription at €100 per year (€8.33/month, prorated), but only after you explicitly confirm the link — until then it sits in ‘awaiting confirmation’ with no access and no charges. Partners with their own subscription are confirmed immediately and cost you nothing. Linked (or self-paying) importers get an extra tab listing all projects they’re named in as importer.
- Two access model changes: importers without a subscription or chain partner link no longer have read access to projects they’re named in, while producers now gain read access (like carriers and handlers).
- Chain partner management requires an active subscription (so not during the trial period): the page shows an explanatory alert instead, and changes are blocked.
- When you cancel your subscription, chain partners billed on it drop back to ‘awaiting confirmation’ — they lose access and must be re-confirmed if you re-subscribe; self-paying partners stay linked.
- The subscription page now shows a monthly total, per-seat quantities for subscription items, and metered usage listed separately.
31 juli 2026
- Full transport flow for notification procedure shipments (Annex 1b): create transit documents from an approved notification, select which carriers execute the shipment, sign and announce, CMR freight slip, driver loading and unloading, arrival, receipt confirmation (block 17 and 18), and certification of completion (block 19).
- Importers and handlers receive email invitations to confirm receipt and certify completion, with deadline reminders showing days left.
- The pre-transport driver screen now says “Download for the road”.
31 juli 2026
- Unique document number on Annex VII forms — Every Annex VII now gets its own document number, built from the project number plus a per-project serial number (e.g. “2026-07-3-2”). It’s stamped on the rendered document and visible live in the form preview, along with a small Travas logo on the document.
30 juli 2026
- “DIWASS registration only” option in onboarding — When choosing your role during onboarding, there’s a new third option for organizations that only want Travas to register them as an operator in DIWASS: we create the EU Login account on your behalf, arrange the operator registration, and transfer the account to you after approval — for a one-time fee, no subscription needed. The subscription option (importer/exporter) is now listed first.
29 juli 2026
- Annex VII documents can now be deleted and duplicated
- Cookie consent banner in the app
28 juli 2026
- The transport date in emails is now labeled as the date of transport
- A warning is shown when transport is scheduled before it is allowed
27 juli 2026
- Replaced a placeholder in the declaration text
- Checkout now redirects to the billing details form when required billing information is missing
24 juli 2026
- Replace a carrier on a locked Annex VII — When the shipment hasn’t started yet, the carrier can now be replaced without editing the annex: the old carrier’s transport link stops working immediately and the new carrier receives a fresh invitation to sign Block 5. Successive (non-executing) carriers can be replaced, added or removed in the same window. Once Block 5 is signed, the carrier list is fixed.
- Cancel an Annex VII — A locked Annex VII that hasn’t started moving can now be cancelled by the arranger. The shipment is called off, open carrier actions are closed, and the carrier’s transport link stops working.
- Public changelog — This page! All product updates are now published at /changelog.
- Responsible disclosure — A public security policy at /responsible-disclosure and a machine-readable security.txt, including an OpenPGP key for encrypted vulnerability reports.
23 juli 2026
- Prices always shown in Euros — Fixed a localization issue where amounts could render in a non-Euro currency format; all prices now consistently display in Euros.
21 juli 2026
- Border crossing suggestions on the project form — The specific entry/exit points (Block 15) now suggest official border crossings while you type, filtered by the countries on the route and the transport mode. Picking a point automatically fills in the matching point on the other side of the border (e.g. choosing exit “Venlo (A67)” fills entry “Straelen (A40/E34)” and the transit country). Free-text entries remain possible; a hint under each field says so.
- “How will the transport take place?” — New transport-mode field on the project (road, rail, sea, air, inland waterways), which also drives the border-crossing suggestions.
- Clearer route layout — The export country, transit countries and import country each render as their own card on the project form, with equal-width fields.
- Back to search when adding an organization manually — When entering an organization by hand, a new link takes you back to the organization search.
- “Projects as importer” tab restricted — The importer tab is now only shown to (and reachable by) organizations that actually act as importer; organizations merely referenced on a project (e.g. as carrier) no longer see it.
- VAT number validation for foreign organizations — VAT numbers of organizations outside the Netherlands are now validated too.
- Subscription management permissions fixed — Corrected who can view and manage the organization’s subscription.
17 juli 2026
- Shared shipment details moved to the project — Waste identification, waste description, the countries/states concerned and the involved parties are now filled in once on the project and shared by all its annexes, instead of being repeated on every annex form.
- Transfer-location step removed — The extra transfer-location stop in the transport flow, including its sign-for-receipt step and email invitation, has been removed.
14 juli 2026
- Structured transit countries on Annex 1A — Block 15 transit countries are now proper entries with their own competent authority and entry/exit points, instead of free-form fields.
- One-time payment for assisted DiWaSS connection — The assisted DiWaSS connection during onboarding is now offered as a one-time payment.
13 juli 2026
- Online payments via Stripe — Subscriptions are now handled through Stripe, including the payment step during onboarding and subscription management for the organization.
- Localized prices — Amounts in the onboarding flow are now shown in the localized currency format.
